History
The Senica Law Firm was founded in 1986 by Miro Senica, who at the time was the youngest attorney in the entire former Yugoslavia. Equipped solely with knowledge, determination, and an exceptional work ethic, he built a modern law firm virtually from scratch within a few years—one that operates according to the highest professional standards and provides top-tier legal support to clients across all areas of law.
Today, after more than 30 years of operation, Senica is a brand that needs no introduction. It stands for excellence, quality, and an individualized approach, and is widely recognized both in Slovenia and throughout the Western Balkans.
The Senica Law Firm has 9 partners and more than 40 professionals specialized in various fields of law. The firm regularly cooperates with renowned and respected experts, including professors from the Faculty of Economics and the Faculty of Law of the University of Ljubljana and the University of Maribor, as well as with scientific institutions and faculties such as the Institute for Economic Research at the Faculty of Law of the University of Ljubljana and the Institute for Commercial Law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Maribor.
A major milestone in the development of the Senica Law Firm was reached in September 2019, when the firm entered into a cooperation agreement with the international association Andersen Global. Following an in-depth analysis of the Slovenian market and numerous meetings with leading law firms, Andersen Global selected the Senica Law Firm as its exclusive member in Slovenia. In January 2021, the Senica Law Firm officially became a member of Andersen Global.
At the international level, Andersen Global unites legally separate and independent firms comprising carefully selected top-tier tax and legal professionals from around the world. Through its participation in Andersen Global, the Senica Law Firm also became the regional coordinator for the entire Western Balkans and expanded its service offering to include tax and financial advisory services.
