The Slovenian-German Chamber of Commerce organised a Financial Forum in Cubo Golf Ljubljana on the 13th of December 2022, followed by a pre-Christmas gathering of members. The Chamber organised the Financial Forum with its partners, Elementum, Borza terjatev and Law Firm Senica & Partners with Andersen, which was dedicated to investments in precious metals and the sale of receivables. Investments in precious metals are becoming more and more of interest to companies, among others, due to inflation and the rise of interest rates. The companies can also use them as collateral. The sale of receivables improves the company's liquidity or can serve as an investment if the company has available funds.

In the opening speech, Katarina Kresal, Partner and Managing Director of the Senica Law Firm & Partners and Managing Partner of Andersen in Slovenia, welcomed the participants. On behalf of Law Firm Senica & Partners and Andersen, Janja Ovsenik, MSc, Tax Partner, and Mojca Gornjak, PhD, Financial and Accounting Director, presented precious metals and the sale of receivables in accounting and tax financial statements and participated in a roundtable entitled "Financial Update 2023", moderated by Martin Tomažin from Bloomberg Adria.  

After the Financial Forum, the Chamber members continued to network in the pleasant surroundings of the festively decorated Cubo Golf Ljubljana clubhouse and made new acquaintances and business connections in a relaxed pre-Christmas atmosphere.
