Law Firm Miro Senica and Attorneys participates in arbitration simulation at ECDR

On Tuesday, February 25th, Associates at Law Firm Miro Senica and Attorneys Blaž Slavec, Matija Urankar and Nina Krajnc took the role of arbitrators in an arbitration simulation organized by Faculty of Law, University in Ljubljana as part of the preparation for a handpicked selection of students who will participate in the internationally renowned student investment law competition at the Frankfurt Investment Arbitration Moot Court.
The simulation took place at the European Centre for Dispute Resolution (ECDR), which is the institutional partner of Law Firm Miro Senica and Attorneys. ECDR is one of the most prestigious and regionally recognized providers of domestic and cross-border arbitration and other alternative dispute resolution procedures and its experts participated in many international projects and initiatives concerning rule of law reforms, which is why the organizers of the arbitration simulation picked ECDR to properly simulate the setting in which the final competition event will take place. The Frankfurt Investment Arbitration Moot Court is the oldest and most prestigious student competition in the area of investment protection law which focuses on the oral presentation of legal arguments before an arbitral tribunal composed of specialists in the field. The final event will take place in March at the Goethe University in Frankfurt where our arbitration contestants will compete against students from all around the world.
