Društvo VTIS (the Association of Slovenes Educated Abroad) is once again organizing the traditional event First VTIS: from Slovenia to the world. At the event, high school and university students, who are going to study abroad for the first time, will have the opportunity to get to know each other and for networking. The event will also be attended by many Slovenian alumni of foreign universities, who will share their experiences and advice on studying and living in different countries around the world.

In 2020, Association VTIS presented the VTIS LETA 2020 award to the Parus Foundation, which was founded in 2006 by Attorney Miro Senica. The Association presents the award for activities in the field of networking and cooperation between Slovenian citizens at home and abroad.

The event Prvi VTIS will take place on Wednesday, 11 August 2021, at 5.30 pm in the Botanical Garden in Ljubljana. Registration for the event is possible via Eventbrit.
