Matija Urankar, attorney and partner at Law Firm Senica, presented the key elements of a draft law to regulate the status of persons with deafblindness and secure their rights at an event organized by the Slovenian Association of the Deafblind DLAN on the European Day of Persons with Deafblindness. This legislative proposal results from years of collaboration between our law firm, association representatives, and decision-makers.

The proposed law will be an important step toward equal inclusion of people with deafblindness in society, positioning Slovenia as a leading country within the European Union in this field.
